I sat down with Dr. Peter Hackett Clinical Professor Altitude Research Center Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado for a brief but informative chat on acute mountain sickness or altitude sickness. Dr. Hackett has 40 years of research in the field under his belt from the Himalayas, to climbing Everest for AMS research to Denali.
